  • Fix: Initialization file increased in length each time the options dialog was closed.
  • Minor Fixes.

Beta 2 (4/16/2002):

  • Passwords are now fully supported.
  • Fix: When PhotoPoint was the selected screen saver in the Display Properties dialog and the dialog was left open for a long period of time an access violation occurred.

Additional notes:

You can manually edit the PhotoPoint initialization file (photopoint.ini) located in your windows directory to change settings that are not controled through the Options dialog:

  • The TransitionInterval setting under the [Pictures] heading, can be used to control the length of time necessary to complete a transition. If your computer cannot render the transitions smoothly try changing this to a longer interval. Units are in thousandths of a second (1000 = 1 second).
  • Set NoBorder to 1 under the [Caption] section to disable borders on captions.
